Sponsor Spotlight: Sheetz

For over 30 years Sheetz has been a corporate partner and sponsor of Special Olympics Maryland and their support gets better every year. The incredible Sheetz team culture and commitment to communities across Maryland is always on display which includes their incredible support of Special Olympics Maryland. Since March, Sheetz has provided over 1,100 lunches for players, coaches, and tournament volunteers at our two-day state basketball tournament, included athletes at their store opening in Westminster, provided a refrigerated truck to store over 1200 lunches to support food service at our three-day Summer Games at Towson and continued their in-store donation collections to support our athletes across the state.

Make no mistake, the Sheetz culture and commitment to community is demonstrated every day in their stores and the communities they serve. For all of our athletes, families, and volunteers if you have a chance, stop by your closest Sheetz, fuel up your car and while you’re at it grab a fresh MTO meal, a soft drink, cup of coffee, snack and say Thank You to the Sheetz team for supporting Special Olympics Maryland. A special thanks to Jackie Foderaro and the entire Sheetz team for their incredible long-time support of Special Olympics Maryland. Thank you Sheetz, for being a great partner and a champion for Special Olympics Maryland athletes across the state. Through sport, health and athlete leadership your helping build interactive, inclusive communities of dignity and respect while creating a world where opportunity is not limited by disability. And here is a thank you message from basketball team members from Montgomery County who competed at our state tournament at the University of Maryland in the Xfinity Center back in March.
