Greetings Supporter,

On May 15th and 16th, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our 2018 Special Olympics Maryland Interscholastic Unified Sports State Track & Field Invitational.

From April 1st through June 4th, our athletes will have had over 100 competitions.

And from June 8th-10th, 1,500 athletes will compete in the 2018 Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games.

This year's Summer Games competition is right around the corner! On June 8th, 9th, and 10th, 1,500 Special Olympics Maryland athletes will compete in five different sports at Towson University.

IUS 10th Anniversary

This month, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Interscholastic Unified Sports (IUS)! Click below to see results from the 2018 State High School Track & Field Championship at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex.

In honor of the 10th anniversary, former Linganore High School Unified Partner and current Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Rob Havenstein sent a video message about how IUS shaped his high school experience.

2018 Special Olympics USA Games

From July 1-6, Special Olympics Maryland athletes will travel to Seattle, Washington to compete in the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games.

Buck-I-SERV Visits SOMD

For the 2nd year, Special Olympics Maryland hosted students from The Ohio State University's Buck-I-SERV program. This year, we welcomed 7 students and their faculty advisor from May 5th-12th.
