Greetings Supporters,

February flew by, marking the most active stretch of our winter season.

Special Olympics Maryland athletes competed in state championships in Interscholastic Unified Sports (IUS) Strength & Conditioning, IUS Indoor Bocce, and Winter Games; Basketball season is underway; 650 supporters took the 'Dunk;' athletes are preparing to travel to Austria for the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games, and so much more.

2017 Winter Games

The 2017 Special Olympics Maryland Winter Games were held on February 27th & 28th at Whitetail Ski Resort in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania.

2017 Capitol Hill Day

On Did you know that Special Olympics is the world's largest provider of free healthcare services to people with intellectual disabilities? On February 15th, a group of athletes visited the U.S. Capitol to let their elected officials know that we want them to continue supporting this critical work!
