Key Dates and Deadlines
April 29, 2022 – Training Deadline – Everyone participating in training in Athletics (Track & Field), Bocce, Cheerleading, Softball, and Swimming must be registered as training in GMS. Anyone added to training after this date will not be eligible to be part of a Summer Games delegation (neither as a competitor nor as any other delegation member). (Note: Coaches must provide this information to their Area Leaders 1 to 2 weeks in advance of this deadline)
May 9, 2022 – Outstanding Forms Deadline – Any remaining forms and certifications must be submitted to SOMD HQ by Area leaders; any registrant with any missing forms after this date will be deleted from Summer Games. (Note: Coaches must provide this information to their Area Leaders 1 to 2 weeks in advance of this deadline)
May 13, 2022 – “Delegation Declaration” Deadline – Areas must remove from GMS anyone who is still listed for Summer Games but will not actually be in attendance.
May 27, 2022 – Competition Registration Deadline – Each competitor must have their competitive events and appropriate entry scores entered into GMS or will be deleted from Summer Games. (Note: Coaches must provide this information to their Area Leaders 1 to 2 weeks in advance of this deadline)
