2025 Winter Games
Congratulations to all of our participating Athletes and Unified Partners for a great 2025 Winter Games as Wisp Resort! Approximately 180 Athletes and Unified Partners competed in various events across both Alpine Skiing and Snowshoeing! The weather and trail conditions allowed for the Alpine Skiing competitors to race on seven different trails spread out across the mountain varying in length and difficulty. The snowfall throughout the season allowed for an incredible Snowshoeing venue where athletes were able to race around a well-groomed track. Healthy Athletes
For the first time in history, Healthy Athletes is being offered at Winter Games! Athletes can take part in health screenings at Wisp Resort including Healthy Hearing, Fit Feet, and Special Smiles. Thanks to our clinical directors, medical volunteers, and our partners at Maryland Physicians Care, AHEC West- Maryland Health Connection, Garrett County Health Department, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and Mountain Laurel Medical Center
- 146 TOTAL NUUMBER OF HA SCREENINGS
- Fit Feet = 52 screenings
- Healthy Hearing = 42 screenings
- Special Smiles = 52 screenings
- Approximately 70+ total individual athletes screened
- Made 13 pairs of custom swim molds on site for our swimming athletes (First time ever!!)
