Jason Schriml from SOMD will talk briefly about the Athlete Leadership Programs (ALPs) and how being a captain on a team or within a sports is considered leadership.
This will be followed by Khalid Nwandu’s presentation about what is leadership, what to look for and how to choose a captain.

We think this is valuable to all coaches and athletes to attend this session because it offers some perspective into an alternative athlete leadership opportunity other than public speaking and being an emcee.
