2009 Special Olympics Maryland Volunteer Alert for Friday, June 5
Despite the cloudy skies of Friday, June 5, the forecast for Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 is filled with sunshine, blue skies and fantastic competition by Special Olympics Maryland athletes.
Athletes, who are counting on you to come out and volunteer on Saturday and/or Sunday to keep time, keep score, escort athletes, help present awards and in many other positions. We can’t hold the Games without you!
As a volunteer on Saturday June 6 and/or Sunday June 7 you will join other volunteers who fill over 1,500 positions to make the 2009 Summer Games a success.
