Event Format: One-day invitational tournament in Floor hockey for Special Olympics Athletes

Participants: 225 Athletes in Team Play
25 Athletes in Floor Hockey ISC
30 Coaches
40 Volunteers

Individual Skills Contest (ISC)

Volunteers: Volunteers are recruited from the local community

Tentative Schedule:

8:30am Registration
8:30am Opening Ceremonies
9:00am Preliminary Competition
9:00am-6:00pm Team Competition and ISC
11:00am-6:00pm Team Competition Awards
12:00pm-1:30pm Lunch
12:00pm ISC Awards

Meal Information: Lunch to be provided for Athletes, Coaches, and Volunteers.
Families may purchase a lunch if extra is available.

Directions to Barrie School From the Capital Beltway, Rt. 495: Exit at Georgia Ave., Rt. 97 North Proceed on Georgia Ave. for approximately 3 miles Turn right onto Layhill Road Continue on Layhill for approximately 1 mile The Barrie School is located on the left, 13500 Layhill Road (Directly across the street from the Indian Springs Country Club)
