Softball and Track and Field Season is here

SOFTBALL 2013

The first practice for softball will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Loch Raven Recreation Center, 1801 Glen Keith Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21234 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Practice will continue on a weekly basis on Sunday and Wednesday up until the Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games. Practice on Wednesdays will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

If this will be your first time participating in Special Olympics, please visit our Become An Athlete [http://somdba.org/sports/become-an-athlete/] to find out if you are eligible to participate. All athletes compete free of charge.

Athletes must register to participate in the upcoming softball season by registering on-line at http://somdba.org/athlete-registration/softball-registration/

TRACK & FIELD 2013

The first practice for track & field will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at McDonogh School, 8600 McDonogh Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117-1009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Practice will continue on a weekly basis on Tuesdays and Saturdays up until the Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games. Practice on Saturday will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

I want and deserve to be a part of #Team Loyal and my goal is to bemcoe a faster and stronger athlete, jump out the gym and dunk with ease as a 5’11 point guard/shooting guard, make and play for my college team this winter, and make history as the best basktball player who ever played the game with just one arm’
